Salesforce is the most powerful CRM on the market, and for large sales organisations that power is worth every penny. Mipp is a small, simple UK-built CRM for one person or a small team. Pick Salesforce if...

Salesforce is the right call for enterprise sales teams and for smaller companies that plan to become one. If you need custom objects, approval workflows, territory management, forecasting across regions, or integrations with practically anything via AppExchange, nothing else comes close. It is priced per user and it rewards investment: a dedicated admin (or a consultant) can shape it around exactly how your business sells, and its reporting can answer questions most CRMs cannot even ask. Be realistic about the cost of that power, though. Getting Salesforce set up well typically takes weeks, not minutes, and keeping it well configured is an ongoing job. If you have the budget, the headcount and genuinely complex sales processes, that trade is worth making.

Pick Mipp if...

Mipp is for one person or a small team who want a CRM working today, not after a rollout project. Starter is £19 a month for one person, and Growth is £49 a month for up to three team members in your workspace, billed in pounds by a UK company, with two months free if you pay annually and no contract on monthly plans. Every Mipp feature is on every plan. Each account has one sign-in for now, so team members cannot sign in separately yet. There is nothing to configure and no training to sit through. Import your client list from a CSV file (up to 500 rows at a time). You also get a kanban task board for every client and an ideas board with impact scoring, which Salesforce does not offer out of the box. What Mipp will not do is bend itself around a complex sales process. There are no custom objects or workflow builders, on purpose. If your process fits contacts, deals, tasks and revenue tracking, Mipp covers it without an admin. The honest summary: Salesforce is the more powerful product by far; Mipp is the one a small team can run without anyone whose job is running it.

Can I import my data from Salesforce?

Yes, for clients and contacts. Export them from Salesforce as a CSV file, then use Clients, Import in Mipp. Column headings are matched automatically, there is a template to download, duplicates and blank rows are skipped, and up to 500 rows go in at a time. Opportunities and tasks are not imported, so add those by hand or email sam@mipp.co.uk and we will help.

Is the free trial really free?

Yes. You get 14 days with full access. We take card details up front but nothing is charged until day 15, and you can cancel anytime before then and pay nothing.

What if I outgrow Mipp?

Then move, with our blessing. Your data belongs to you. Mipp does not have a data export at the moment, so bear that in mind before you move. Mipp is for small teams; if you grow into a sales organisation that needs forecasting, territories and custom workflows, Salesforce will serve you better and we will say so.
